THE CRITICAL YEARS- Kindergarten - 5th Grade

At 252 Basics, we realize that the most critical years for spiritual training are between the ages of 5 and 12.  Yet, with only 40 hours a year, we can only make a small difference. That's why our main goal is to equip parents for the 3000+ hours that they have at home and on the road!

252Basics is our Sunday morning 9 am and 10:15 am experience that provides a set of very application-rich tools to PARENTS for teaching kids Godly character and key Biblical principles throughout the week (at home, on the road, and at church).

Each month, we will focus on a different Christ-like Virtue with different Bible lessons and Bottom Lines each week to teach God's plan for that Virtue in a child's life.

252 Basics wants kids to have Christ in their hearts, reflect Jesus' character and always know:

GODTIME CARDS AND FRIDGE DOORS

GodTime cards are a series of 4 Bible devotions that go along with the Sunday morning Bible lesson in Small Group and Large Group.  The goal is for each child to take a few minutes 4 times per week to complete each devotion.  These devotions teach kids how to have special daily Quiet Time with God (in His Word) and continue to reinforce and teach the lesson throughout the week.

ALERT! If parents show no interest in their own daily time with God and show no interest in influencing kids to complete these cards, their kids more than likely will NEVER ever spend this special time with God.

TIP:  We have some parents that use this valuable tool throughout the week as a bedtime devotion for the whole family.

Fridge Door Cards are for you to put on your........ refrigerator door.... This card has the Bible Story for the week, the Bottom Line (main theme), and the Memory Verse.  Use it as needed to review the lesson and practice the memory verse throughout the week.
