XA Student Ministry Update, 5-25-2011

I’m working on finalizing our summer calendar this week and will hopefully be able to send out an attachment tomorrow afternoon. REALLY excited about what’s in store and  how God plans to use our opportunities to serve and grow together!

Tonight (Wednesday) we will continue working on Senior Night stuff. The date for Senior Night is June 5 at 6:00 in the Fellowship Hall and our loose  theme is “John Deere and Skinny Jeans”….which would make sense if you knew our graduates.  We really have a lot of fun honoring our the graduates who have been active in our Ministry and this is one of the highlights of the year, so make sure this evening is a priority for all students!

Sunday morning (9:00) we will begin a two part video discussion on The Trinity and Holy Spirit…two areas I felt we needed some follow up on as we completed our series on other denominations, etc. We will also use some of our time these next two weeks as a “Summer preview” as we gear up for our summer ministry.

INSIDEOUT on Sunday afternoon (4:30- 7:30) will conclude our “Guardrails” series. We will have a message and small group discussion from Daniel 1 which I really feel that God could use as a defining moment  in some student’s walk with Christ! Afterglow will be dinner and hang out at the home of Randy and Susan Brown! (3208 Kirby Smith Dr)
