XA Youth Ministry Weekly Update, 10-5-2011

This Sunday (10/9) we are one the concluding week of both our Sunday morning and Sunday evening series. They have each been great series and we look forward to finishing them off with a bang! Sunday morning (9:00) we will be wrap up our “Surrender” video series with Francis Chan, discussing “Surrendering our Self”. At INSIDEOUT (4:30-7:30) we will finish the “Labyrinth” large group/small group series. This will be followed by a snack supper and an off campus AfterGlow, “Nerf Wars”.

Our updated Schedule for Sunday evenings in October looks like this:

10/9- INSIDEOUT (Nerf Wars Afterglow)

10/16- Not Meeting (church leadership event)

10/23- Galloway Farms (Church wide family night at Corn Maze)

10/30- 80’s Retro Youth Group Night (remember we are looking to borrow any authentic 80’s toys, technology, or pop culture items in which you have access)

The last three weeks  of the month of October (10/16-10/30)we will shift our large group/small groups to the 9:00 hour! We will be working through a series on prayer, “Can You Hear Me?”.
