XA Youth Ministry Weekly Update, 12-19-2011

Merry Christmas!

As I promised you last week, things are finally slowing down for a bit after a crazy past few weeks! Thank you all SO MUCH for all the support you give to our church and our student ministry! I am truly blessed to have the opportunity to work with the greatest students, leaders, and parents in the entire world! Can’t wait to see what God has in store for us in 2012  as we continue to make an impact in our community and world!

This Sunday (Christmas) all teenagers are invited to help out with the “Christmas Party for Jesus” being held by the Children’s Ministry at 9:00 am. We won’t be meeting otherwise.

The following Sunday (New Years Day) we will be meeting as usual at 9:00. I’m going to plan for us to get together for INSIDEOUT that evening (probably would go to our house for AfterGlow), but we will make the final call that morning once we gauge how many would be available.  If you aren’t here Sunday morning to get the word, check our Student Ministry Facebook page that afternoon.

There is a Lift service this Wednesday (Dec 21) but not the following Wednesday (Dec 28). The teenagers will not meet separately either week.

I will be finalizing our Winter 2012 schedule next week. One thing we are looking at possibly doing is taking a group to the WinterJam concert on Saturday January 7 in Raleigh! Be on the lookout!  http://www.jamtour.com/
